Len Berman and Michael Riedel talked with Joe Borelli, the Minority leader of the New York City Council, who also represents the 51st Council District in Staten Island, about migrants refusing to stay in the tent erected in Floyd Bennett Field. Borell said 'He's not surprised that the migrants are hesitant to stay in a cold and damp tent city when they had been staying at expensive New York hotels since they've been here." Borelli believes that the move was intentional, and Mayor Adams is using it to wind down the migrant crisis in the city.
