Former President Donald Trump is waiting to see if the Fulton County D.A. hands up an indictment against him, in addition to the other indictments he has compiled over how he handled the 2020 election results. Meanwhile, current President Joe Biden snapped at Fox News reporter Peter Doocy when he asked him a question concerning son Hunter’s alleged business dealings. WOR White House correspondent Jon Decker appeared on 710 WOR’s Len Berman and Michael Riedel in the Morning program to discuss the latest legal troubles swirling around America’s two most recent commanders-in-chief.

“During the course of the Obama/Biden administration,” Decker recounted for Berman and Riedel, “it always struck me as odd- not aware of what would happen many years later- of Joe Biden’s involvement with Ukraine… He probably visited Ukraine more than any other country during the course of [Obama’s] presidency, and I always found that as odd. But again, that doesn’t connect the dots. That certainly is some smoke, but where’s the fire, and that’s the job of law enforcement, it’s the job of the US attorney in Delaware, and it’s the job of James Comer, who is the chair of the Oversight Committee.”

As for the 45th president, Decker says the challenge isn’t what the special investigators are looking at for evidence, so much as where they are looking. “Donald Trump, as president, as a private citizen, famously does not use emails, and that is maybe the reason why they’re going the road of looking at his DMs as it relates to Twitter, because this is something that he has always had a practice of, and that is not using email messages to communicate with anybody.”
