NYC Needs Federal Government Money to Deal with the Migrant Crisis

Len Berman and Michael Riedel talked with former Nassau County Executive Laura Curran about the ongoing migrant crisis. Laura told Len and Michael she thinks NYC Mayor Eric Adams is doing a good job but needs monetary help from the federal government. Laura said 10,000 migrants are coming into NYC every month, and the city has run out of places to house them. Laura also talked with Len and Michael about the responsibility of educating migrant children. NYC schools are already facing budget and overcrowding issues, and now, with the migrant influx, parents want to know how many kids will be in their children's classrooms. The next migrant tent city will be erected on Randell's Island within the next week.
