Slavery Reparations Remain Unpopular with Moderate Voters

Len and Michael talked with Joe Borelli, the Staten Island representative for the NYC City Council about slavery reparations. Joe doesn't believe anyone living today had anything to do with slavery, so why should we be held financially responsible for something that none of us were alive for? Borelli told the guys when slavery reparations were brought up in California, even their crazed left-wing Governor Gavin Newsome shelved it for another time. Borelli predicted New York Governor Kathy Hochul will do the same thing when it lands on her desk because of its unpopularity. Borelli told the guys, the idea of taxing middle-class folks for the actions of people over 150 years ago will have moderate Democrats and Independent voters looking elsewhere for leadership.
