Len and Michael talked with New York's 11th District Representative Nicole Malliotakis this morning. Nicole told the guys, Republicans didn't get everything they wanted, but for the first time in history, they got spending cuts included in the debt ceiling deal. Nicole also told the guys the Debt Ceiling agreement includes requirements for able-bodied adults to work if they want to receive food stamps and welfare benefits. Malliotakis added, Republicans also stopped tax increases and halted the Democrats from hiring more IRS agents.
