New York Adopts CDC Guidance On Masks

Governor Cuomo says New York state will implement the latest CDC recommendations on wearing a mask outside.

It says that people don’t have to wear the mask if they’ve been vaccinated and are in a small group.

“This news underscores the fact that if you get vaccinated, more freedom is available to you, and I encourage all eligible New Yorkers who have not yet received the vaccine to make an appointment today,” Cuomo said.

Masks are still required by all people when in a large crowd outdoors.
