It isn't always easy for states to attract the best doctors, but a new report reveals which states make themselves the most attractive for medical professionals.
- Well, WalletHub has just come out with their list of the Best and Worst States for Doctors
- They judged all 50 states and the District of Columbia on 19 factors.
- They include average annual wage of physicians, hospitals per capita, quality of public hospital systems and more.
- So, which state are the most desirable for doctors to practice?
- Montana tops the list with a score of 69.63, landing at four for Medical Environment, which includes things like quality of public hospitals, hospital safety and more.
- Maine, which ranks 13thoverall, is tops for Medical Environment, while Alabama, which ranks 12th overall, is tops for Opportunity and Competition, which includes things like hospitals per capita, physicians annual wage and more.
