New York City Private School Bans “Mom” And “Dad” From Use

Apparently calling someone “Mom” or “Dad” or even “parents” is offensive at one New York City school.

Instead, Grace Church School says terms like "grown-ups," "folks," "family," or guardians should be used. And forget about “nanny” or “babysitter”! “Caregiver is to be used instead.

The guide came to light this week as part of “City Journal's” story on how "woke" ideology is influencing elite education.

The school defends their guide, saying "Grace is an Episcopal school. As part of our Episcopal identity, we recognize the dignity and worth common to humanity.”
