Photographer Captures Brooklyn Bridge Wedding, Finds Couple Through Twitter

While on a bike ride on the Brooklyn Bridge, Nevona Friedman saw a couple tying the knot as the sun set. She snapped photos of their wedding, which was just the bride, groom, and their officiant, but she didn’t want to interrupt their intimate and private ceremony. Knowing she had these beautiful images the newlyweds would want, she turned to Twitter to try to track them down.

Karolina Kovalenko and Stephan Ponova had no idea Friedman was there to see them say “I do” until she posted the photos on Twitter. Luckily, they saw them because it turns out, those are the only images of the couple’s once-in-a-lifetime nuptials. “We are very happy that she found us,” the bride says.
