Holocaust Memorial Desecrated In Westchester County

The Westchester County Police are searching for the vandals who left anti-Semitic propaganda and images outside of the Holocaust Garden of Remembrance on Martine Avenue in White Plains, New York.

According to an article published in the New York Post, the memorial was created by the Holocaust and Human Rights Education Center to honor those who were murdered during the Holocaust.

Westchester County Executive, George Latimer said of the incident, "This was a purposeful situation, not a prank. It was not done offhandedly. The location of this incident is egregious. This is at an area specifically designated to commemorate those who died due to anti-Semitism."

A spokesperson from the Westchester County Police said the department is hesitant to release the images and content of the desecrated memorial calling it too "offensive" and "obscene."
