Boone Say Judge And Stanton Could Play For Yankees Next Week

Great news for Yankees fans.

Well aside from the fact that they currently lead the AL East and have the fourth best record in all of baseball.

Yeah, and what makes it even more impressive is that they have been doing it without their two biggest sluggers—Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton.

Because the even better news is that it shouldn’t be that way for much longer, according to skipper Aaron Boone who said yesterday that both are recovering well from their respective injuries and could potentially join the team after rehab assignments next week.

Giancarlo is already in his rehab assignment after his latest injury (left calf tightness) caused him to once again land on the injury list. He is set to play for Triple-A Scranton this weekend.

Judge is hoping to begin his rehab assignment over the weekendafter missing the past two-plus months rehabbing an oblique injury.

If all goes well for them both, then it won’t be much longer before they are once again terrorizing MLB pitchers on a regular basis.
