High School Student Pleads Guilty In Manslaughter Case

18-year-old Z'Inah Brown could very well spend the next 25 years of her life behind bars after she pleaded guilty to stabbing 16-year-old Valaree Schwab to death in a Dunkin' Donuts near New Rochelle High School.

Brown and a group of her friends committed the crime in January of last year after hassling and bullying Schwab numerous times throughout the school year.

The murder occurred after Brown and two other members of the gang knocked Schwab to the ground causing her to drop her house keys. The victim then spent the next hour following the gang of teens around begging them to return her keys so she could go home.

When Schwab entered a Dunkin' Donuts looking for a safe place to hide Brown followed her into the shop and plunged a steak knife into her heart and lung leaving her on the floor where she died moments later.

According to an article published in the New York Post, Z'Inah Brown, Dominique Slack and Carl Booker are the only 3 from the gang of teenagers to be charged so far in the killing of the 16-year-old girl.
