Former Met Lenny Dykstra Pleads Not Guilty

Former Major League Baseball player Lenny Dykstra has pleaded not guilty to drug and other charges in New Jersey on Monday.

Dykstra was arraigned in court in Union County after being arrested back in May.  Police said he had cocaine and other drugs on him.  Dykstra also allegedly threatened an Uber driver, but claims the driver tried to kidnap him.

"Mr. Dykstra is actually innocent.  Evidence doesn't lie.  The evidence is going to show us that he's innocent," Dykstra's attorney said.

Dykstra is due back in court in December.

He played for both the New York Mets and Philadelphia Phillies during his baseball career.

"I feel great.  I could play center field tonight," Dykstra said.
