Jury Deliberations Resume at Menendez Trial

The jury at the corruption trial of Senator Bob Menendez will start from scratch on Monday, when they resume deliberations.

Jurors had already been considering his fate for multiple days last week when one of the jurors was excused for a vacation on Thursday.  An alternate is being brought in, but the jury will have to start deliberations from the beginning.

Menendez is accused of doing political favors for a Florida eye doctor in exchange for lavish gifts and trips.  He has pleaded not guilty and predicts he will be exonerated.
