An employee at PS 174 alerted school officials when she witnessed a man filming her as she used the bathroom Tuesday afternoon.
The victim told police that she saw a man peering into the basement bathroom window with his cell phone as she used the facilities at William Sidney Mount Elementary School in Rego Park.
The police are investigating the situation and officials at The Department of Education have added exterior security patrols at the school.
No arrests have been made.
