A man has been arrested and charged after allegedly stabbing a pregnant woman and a second woman on a subway train in the Bronx.
The incident happened Thursday night on a northbound 2 train after an argument when one of the women bumped into him. Derrick Wilson, 50, allegedly stabbed the pregnant 24-year-old woman in the neck and then her friend in the arm.
Wilson tried to escape at the Prospect Avenue station but was detained by witnesses. He’s facing several charges, including attempted murder.
Both women are expected to be okay. The unborn child is also expected to survive.
