Swanson's Hustle Leads to Braves 3-2 Walk-off Win vs Mets

The Mets lost another heart-breaker 3-2 tonight as they were walked off by the Braves in the top of the ninth. Dansby Swanson hustled for a 1-out double in the bottom of the ninth, then scored on a single by pinch-hitter Rio Ruiz.

Matt Harvey pitched well picking up a no-decision, he didn't allow a run battling through five innings scattering four hits while striking out three. With the Mets ahead 1-0 on a Curtis Granderson home run, Paul Sewald took the hill in the sixth and allowed a 2-run double to Swanson. Travis d'Aranud would erase the Braves brief lead with a solo shot and the game remained tied until Ruiz walked it off.

The Mets and Braves will play a double header on Saturday beginning with 'Mets on Deck' a 12:05 pm.
