Does Mayor de Blasio understand he's under the watchful eye of the voting public because of his questionable behavior when it's come to favoritism?
In his latest head-scratching move the Mayor admitted to issuing 50,000 parking placards to NYC public school workers.
Under Mayor Bloomberg's administration, the 60,000 permits issued to Department Of Education workers was cut down to 11,000 in 2008.
Last week the principal's union won a court decision to have the parking placards re-issued.
The timing of courts reversal on the placard issue and the fact that this is an election year has people suspicious that the move could be construed as a gift to the powerful teachers union.
Mayor de Blasio said his admiration was following the decision of the court.
