It was not a happy "Harvey Day" for the Mets and Matt Harvey in his first start back from a three-game suspension as the Mets lost to the Brewers 7-4. Harvey battled for five innings allowing two runs before imploding in the bottom of the six allowing home runs to Eric Sogard and Orlando Arcia putting the Mets in a 5-2 bind.

The bullpen would surrender two more runs as Rafael Montero allowed a solo home run to Jett Bandy and then Jonathan Villar scored on a pick off play in the eighth. The Mets would attempt a ninth inning rally as they scored two runs off of Jacob Barnes before Jared Hughes came on to get Wilmer Flores to pop out and end the ballgame.

Jacob deGrom will start Saturday for the Mets as they'll look to even the series at one. "Mets on Deck with Pete McCarthy" kicks off coverage on WOR at 6:05 pm.
