Joe Bartlett

Joe Bartlett has been the voice of WOR News for three decades. He has covered all of the major stories and has won numerous awards for his reporting and anchoring. Joe has also been an on-air companion for several WOR morning hosts including two John Gambling’s and now Len Berman and Todd Schnitt.Each morning Joe begins every day with “The First Morning News” at 5am, a one-hour look at all of the days news. He also hosts a one-hour show on Saturdays from 6 to 7am.
Joe came to WOR from Albany, New York where he worked in TV and radio. He now lives in New Jersey with his wife Jeanne. They raised three boys all of whom are now married. Because of his early hours Joe was able to coach his boys baseball and soccer teams. After his boys left sports, Joe became a soccer referee. He now spends his free time playing golf. He and his wife also enjoy spending time on Cape Cod.
One non-work area Joe is especially proud of is his work with The St Baldrick’s Foundation, which raises money for childhood cancer research. Joe has served on the board for seven years and has shaved his head several times to raise money for cancer research.
