Vincent Trocheck scored in the second overtime to give the Rangers a 4 to 3 win over the Carolina Hurricanes in Game 2 of their playoff series at Madison Square Garden.
Alexis Lafreniere scored twice earlier in the game and Chris Kreider's third period goal forced overtime. Jake Guentzel had a pair of goals for the Hurricanes.
The Rangers lead the series 2 games to 0.
