Len Berman and Michael Riedel talked with WOR White House Correspondent Jon Decker about the Kennedy Center Honor. Jon was with President Biden at the Kennedy Center when Billy Crytal, Queen Latifah, Renee Fleming, Barry Gibb, and Michael Riedel's favorite singer, Dionne Warwick. The evening was going along smoothly until President Biden butchered the superstar singer's name, calling her Diane.
Decker said, "he was surprised that the White House pool reporter for print outlets didn't include the President's gaff in her report, but the White House's statement on the issue did include President Biden's mispronunciation."
Decker told Len and Michael he did see Warwick wince slightly when Biden misspoke but then let the show go on like a true showbiz pro.
