Rutgers Men's Basketball Returns To NCAA Tournament Friday After 30 Years

The drought is over for the Rutgers University Scarlet Knights.

After a 30-year hiatus, Rutgers is back in the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament. They’ll be playing this Friday night against the No. 7 seed Clemson Tigers at 9:20 p.m.

The Rutgers men's team last appeared in the tournament in 1991 — the same year that Kevin McCallister was left home alone by his parents and Color Me Badd was at the top of the music charts.

Catch all the game action on TBS, as Coach Steve Pikiell strives to lead his team to another win!

Congratulations from your family at 710 WOR – the official home of Rutgers Athletics! #GoRU
