NYPD Arrest Suspect In Rick Moranis Assault

As you may recall, Rick Moranis was sucker-punched on the streets of New York City early last month. Now, police have nabbed their suspect.

To recap, Moranis was suddenly attacked and knocked to the ground by a man wearing an “I Love New York” sweatshirt – and apparently wasn’t feeling the love that day – while walking home on Central Park West. Luckily, Moranis was fine after being rushed to the hospital… plus, the whole incident was caught on video.

Thanks to an “eagle-eyed sergeant,” the New York Police Department claims to have their suspect in custody and charged. The NYPD has taken to Twitter to confirm they’ve got their man, while “NBC News” reports that one Marquis Ventura was the one arrested in connection with the assault.
