Police Charge NJ Man With Murdering His Elderly Parents

Warren County officials investigating the double murder of Frank and Joyanne Warner have arrested the couple's 50-year-old son, Todd Warner, in the case.

Washington Township police were called to the Warner family home after a report of an unconscious person was received. Upon entering the home police found the dead couple lying in a pool of blood next to two baseball bats and a knife.

After searching the house and finding the victims' car and credit cards missing, police questioned the couple's neighbors. That led them to Todd, who was located at a Pennsylvani casino.

Warner was charged with first-degree murder and is being held in a Pennsylvania prison until his extradition hearing.

According to a story posted on nbcnewyork.com, Frank and Joyanne Warner were about to retire in December.
