Saquon Barkley Seeking Second Opinion On Ankle From Noted Surgeon

Saquon Barkley is out at least four to six weeks with a dreaded high-ankle sprain, but the New York Giants star is seeking a second opinion on the ankle injury.

And it seems he is going even higher up than the sprain on his ankle.

At least according to an ESPN report yesterday that Barkley will see specialist Dr. Robert Anderson today for his valued opinion.

What this means is that Barkley is wondering if surgery is the best course of action. Dr. Anderson is a foot specialist based out of Green Bay. He is known for specializing in sports medicine and ankle surgeries.

One of the best running backs in the NFL today, Barkley followed up his stellar rookie season with some excellent performances early this year. Before getting injured Sunday against Tampa Bay, the running back had tallied 311 yards and a touchdown from scrimmage in 2019.

And I don’t care if you are a Giants fan and or a Saquon owner in fantasy, I certainly hope he does what is best for him in the long term.

Because he is just so much fun to watch to anyone who just loves football.

And even if you don’t…watch him play once, and he will make you love it.
