Uber Copter Flights Are Coming To NYC Soon

Uber is going airborne a little more than a month from now.

“The New York Times” reports the ride-hailing app will launch helicopter flights for Platinum and Diamond members, beginning July 9th in New York City. Uber hasn't publicly announced the flights but, according to “The Times, “there will be space for five passengers and not much space for baggage.

The “dynamic pricing” will have average fares running between 200 and 225 dollars. The flights will follow a route from near the Staten Island Ferry and Kennedy International airport and will run about eight minutes.

The good news is the pricey way to travel will include ground transportation beforeand after the copter ride.
