Luis Severino Set For Another MRI After More Discomfort

After a weekend series against the Orioles, in which the Yankees hit 14 homers, it’s obvious they have a lot of firepower in their lineup.

And it’s a good thing because they are going to be without one of their best arms on the mound even longer than anticipated.

And that would be Yankees ace Luis Severino who has been coping with shoulder inflammation, and does not appear to be any closer to making his season debut after suffering another setback over the weekend.

Severino “didn’t feel great”the day after his latest flat ground long toss according to manager Aaron Boone and is now headed back to NYC for another MRI and that is—as my mother would say—NG, meaning“no good.”

Of course, she was talking about soap opera characters.

The Yankees are experiencing a different kind of drama right now with Severino in limbo.
