A New York City police officer has been injured after being shot in Brooklyn.
The shooting happened on Decatur Street in Bed-Stuy around 6:30 on Friday morning. The officer was brought to Kings County Hospital with non-life threatening injuries after being shot in the leg.
A suspect is in custody. There’s no word on what led up to the shooting.
Mayor Bill de Blasio has been briefed on the incident.
