25-year-old Markiya Mitchell of Rochester NY admitted to intentionally drowning her 10-month-old son last Monday afternoon.
Ms. Mitchell called the police and reported that her child was unresponsive. When police arrived they found the 10-month-old-baby in the bathtub.
EMS tried to resuscitate the child as they sped to Rochester General Hospital but the child was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Ms. Mitchell was charged with second-degree murder and is being held without bail.
