A 34-year-old man has been seriously injured in a hit-and-run accident near Union Square.
Around 1 o’clock on Tuesday morning, a vehicle turned onto Union Square East at 14th Street when it struck a pedestrian in the crosswalk.
The vehicle then fled the scene. The victim was rushed to the hospital.
An investigation is continuing.
