The FDNY got called to a house fire that turned out to be a pot growing and distribution center.
Brooklyn firefighters responding to a Bensonhurst house fire on Saturday evening happened upon 170 pounds of growing marijuana plants in the basement of the burning house.
The pot was found in a room to room search after the fire was extinguished.
The FDNY turned the investigation over to the Brooklyn South Narcotics Division.
