Jurors at the corruption trial of Senator Bob Menendez will have to start their deliberations all over again.
Juror Evelyn Arroyo-Maultsby has been excused for a vacation. That means an alternate will be brought in and deliberations will start from the beginning on Monday.
“I want to thank the juror who was excused for her service,” Senator Menendez said.
Menendez is accused of doing political favors for a Florida eye doctor in exchange for lavish gifts and trips. He denies the allegations and maintains that he will be exonerated.
