Wildfires are burning in Norther California, threatening vineyards and wineries that are the backbone of the region. So far there hasn't been widespread damage but a few smaller wineries have burned. The extent of the damage to the vineyards themselves is yet to be assessed, but it's clear there has been damage that could take decades to reverse.
