A subway argument escalated into a bloody slashing in the wee hours this morning when three commuters started to squabble on the Northbound "C" train.
Witnesses say the two suspects approached the lone straphanger and began a loud verbal back and forth.
As the train pulled into the station one of the suspects pulled a sharp object from his pocket and ripped open a gash on the victim's arm that ran from his shoulder to his elbow.
The injured man was taken to the hospital to have his arm mended. Police are combing through video surveillance tapes in an attempt to identify the suspects.
