LISTEN: Mets offense powers them to 11-4 win over Giants in series opener

The Mets snapped a four game losing streak in the first game of a three game series in San Francisco by a final score of 11-4. 

It was mostly decided in the top of the second inning as the Mets were able to plate six runs on just seven hits. Seth Lugo pitched well in five and two thirds innings allowing just four runs. He also hit an RBI double and scored a run in the second. Everyone in the Mets starting lineup except Jose Reyes had at least one hit. 

The Mets and Giants will play the middle game of the series Saturday night at 7:15. The 'WOR Sports Zone' will kick off coverage on WOR at 6:05 pm.
