Tourist Arrested After Leaving Loaded Gun In Hotel Room

A forgetful North Carolina tourist was slapped in cuffs after he returned to the Brooklyn Harbor Motor Inn to retrieve the loaded .45 caliber pistol that he stashed under the mattress.

Torrie Flock called the receptionist at The Harbor Inn and alerted them that he had forgotten his handgun and that he was on his way back to claim it.

Unfortunately for Mr. Flock a hotel maid had found his gun and turned it into the hotel management.

The Harbor Inn management called the police and told them that Mr. Flock was on his way to reclaim his weapon. When Flock arrived at the Motor Inn he was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a firearm.

Mr. Flock's attorney explained to the court that North Carolina is an open gun state and her client didn't need a gun license to carry the weapon.

Mr. Flock is being held on $7,500 dollar bail.
