Emergency Landing At JFK To Save Overdosed Passenger

Panicked passengers on a flight from JFK Airport to Florida alerted the flight crew when they noticed a fellow passenger foaming at the mouth and falling in and out of consciousness.

The flight was immediately diverted back to JFK for the medical emergency.

The passenger a 24-year-old man from Bethpage, NY was traveling to Florida to undergo drug rehab when he overdosed on heroin and anxiety pills.

Port Authority officers met the plane on the runway and gave the unidentified man a shot of Narcan.

After stabilizing the man he was transported to Jamaica hospital.
