ABC's Jonathan Karl On Spicer Press Conference - "That Was Unlike Anything I Had Ever Seen"

ABC News White House Correspondent Jonathan Karl believes the White House is hoping President Trump’s wiretapping allegations will eventually go away.

“I think that a likely scenario is that he just waits for people to get tired of asking questions,” Karl told WOR’s “Len Berman and Todd Schnitt in the Morning.”

The House and Senate Intelligence Committees both announced they haven’t seen any evidence supporting President Trump’s claim that there was surveillance of Trump Tower.  Despite that, White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer stood behind the allegations during Thursday’s briefing.  At times, he argued with reporters.

“I’ve been obviously in many, many briefings with many different press secretaries – that was unlike anything I had ever seen,” Karl said.
