Did he or didn't he? That is the question various media outlets are asking today after former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer appeared to be close to crying while on MSNBC's "Morning Joe." Mika Brzezinski asked Spitzer for a heartfelt answer to the question, "How are you different than you were five, six years ago?" Spitzer simply responded with ""A lot of pain. A lot of pain. You go through that pain, you've changed," while appearing to hold back tears.

Was it a sincere response from Spitzer, who announced this week that he will be running for NYC Comptroller? People have already taken to Twitter and other social media pages to debate whether Spitzer was genuinely near tears or if he was putting on a front to appear like is a changed man.
