Alex Rodriguez finally returned to the Yankees lineup Monday night in Chicago just hours after learning he would be suspended by MLB for 211 games. A-Rod is appealing the suspension, allowing him to take the field for the first time since his January hip surgery.

In A-Rod's first at bat back he got booed heavily from the Chicago crowd. The White Sox defeated the Yankees 8-1, while Rodriguez went 1-4 with a bloop single. Rodriguez will be playing in his first home game at Yankees Stadium Friday.
