UPDATE: Three people, all males, are dead after a serious car accident on Route 287 in Mahwah, New Jersey that involved four vehicles.

According to reports, a tractor trailer hit a cement mixer that was parked on the side of the road, killing three men who were standing outside of the mixer, as well as a pickup truck that was stopped by the cement mixer as well.

Several others suffered injuries.




An accident involving a car and tractor trailer has caused Route 287 in Mahwah, New Jersey.

People involved in the accident have been taken to the hospital with injuries, but it is not known yet how serious the injuries are. The tractor trailer was said to have caught on fire.

As of now, traffic is being directed off of Route 287 at Exit 59.
