Nasty weather is expected to make travel over for the Thanksgiving holiday rather difficult. Rain and wind greeted holiday travelers on Wednesday as they tried to get an early start. The National Weather Service said a wind and flood advisory were in effect early Wednesday with wind gusts of up to 50 mph along with possible flooding.

Whether it be by air, by road, or by rail travelers should leave plenty of time to get to their destinations as delays are sure to pop up.
