Police are investigating after a new video emerged, showing another incident where an officer apparently used a chokehold on a suspect.
This incident happened on July 14th at a subway station on Lexington Avenue and East 125th Street. Police confronted Ronald Johns, 23, after he allegedly entered through an exit gate.
According to the New York Post, video shows an officer telling Johns to put his hands behind his back. The officer then puts Johns in a headlock or chokehold.”
A community activist said the video was sent to him anonymously.
A week ago, video showed a police officer apparently putting Eric Garner in a chokehold. Garner later died.
