As Alex Rodriguez continues to rehab and recover from hip surgery eyeing a return to the major leagues, MLB officials may have other ideas for the New York Yankees slugger. ESPN reports that as many as 20 MLB players could be suspended by the league next week after the All-Star break.

The 20 players in danger could see suspensions of as many as 100 games. All the players are linked to the Biogenesis Clinic in Miami. According to ESPN, Rodriguez is expected to meet with the MLB on Friday. The biggest names expected to be suspended are Rodriguez and Milwaukee Brewers slugger Ryan Braun.
