A makeup-stained bedroom chair from the home in which Michael Jackson died is up for sale on eBay.  Its current owner, Brian Mayes, says the bergere-style chair was a special chair for the pop star.

In addition to being a favorite chair for the late pop star, Mayes says it was also the chair Dr. Conrad Murray would sit in as he monitored the singer, although he was not sitting in it on the day Jackson died five years ago on June 25th, 2009.

Mayes, a Nashville-based entertainment publicist, says he bought the chair during an auction of the contents of the Holmby Hills mansion Jackson was renting at the time of his death.  He calls it a true piece of rock and roll history and "the lone witness to Jackson's death."

With a starting bid of $30,000, the chair will be up for auction on eBay for about a week. Mayes says it's garnered a lot of interest from potential buyers from as far away as Germany and Japan.
