Former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer made an appearance on Comedy Central's "The Colbert Report" Thursday night. The city comptroller candidate continued his media tour by sitting down for an interview with Stephen Colbert.

As expected, Colbert didn't shy away from making light of Spitzer's past prostitution scandal, which led to Spitzer resigning as governor of New York. “Given a position of this responsibility, shouldn’t the job of comptroller go to someone who has shown a modicum of self comptrol?” Colbert asked Spitzer, who laughed off the question.
